Can cold weather affect your car engines
This is a very rare issue, but it can absolutely happen! Oil has several properties, but one of the critical ones is cooling. Without enough oil, engine components will create a lot more friction, which heats everything.
Due to the stealthy nature of most FBI missions, the Bureau rarely uses intimidating vehicles with flashy lights and loud sirens. The feds usually drive unmarked cars with either Government or regular state-issued license plates.

Temperature gauges are built into the car's instrument housing on the dashboard . The sensor unit, however, may be in one of several locations - the thermostat housing, the cylinder head or the upper radiator hose . In all cases the sensor is arranged so the coolant flows over it on the way out of the engine.
